Behind the Lens with Jamie Holland: Creating Content Across the Country & Around the Globe
Jamie is a three-time Primetime Emmy-nominated Director of Photography. He has notched up more than three decades of experience filming around the globe; from the waters of Antarctica, to dusty deserts of outback Australia, Alaska’s formidable mountains, the Arctic circle and everything in between.
Jamie’s cinematography commissions and thirst for adventure have brought him from Australia to the United States, where he and his family have embraced the Colorado lifestyle. His eye for capturing stunning images and telling stories through a lens is evident in his vast history of work. From split-second decisions whilst embedded with a SWAT team, to a relaxed and controlled on set environment, Jamie's strength as a Director of Photography shine through. His easy going nature and strong leadership skills are testament to who he is professionally and his wish to live life as a good human. An avid adventure-seeker, Jamie's passion for nature and the environment complements his outlook on life and his ability to capture incredible imagery through a lens for the enjoyment of millions of people in their homes.
To keep up with the rigors of production, whether in tropical jungles, on the ocean or filming in hot dry desert environments, Jamie maintains a high level of health and fitness. Jamie is the DOP you need to work well with production teams and bring home the goods in challenging environments when there’s no room for error.
